Asian American Community Services (AACS)

Provides a variety of services for the Asian community:

  • Supports youth with tutoring and mentoring programs in grades K-12
  • Supports individuals who are victims (or at risk) of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and hate crimes or other forms of violence and/or unhealthy behavior
  • 24-hour interpreting / translation services
  • Computer and English classes
  • Career and college development workshops
  • Free health clinic and Hepatitis B testing

Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS)

Serves refugees, asylees and immigrants in central Ohio by providing the following services:

  • Core services to newly-arriving refugee families and individuals directly assigned to their agency for resettlement
  • Early intervention program and parenting classes for limited English proficient (LEP) people
  • Job training and ESL classes
  • Provide legal representation to those with immigration services (VOCA Program)
  • Health and wellness programs for recently-arrived clients of CRIS’ Resettlement Program

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Franklin County

Helps abused and neglected children in need of a powerful voice to speak up for their best interest. CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to advocate for children and help them obtain a safe, permanent home.

Center for Family Safety & Healing

Addresses all aspects of family violence including child abuse and neglect, teen dating abuse, domestic violence and elder abuse. They offer a continuum of research-based prevention, intervention and treatment programs for individuals (like counseling, prenatal/early intervention services, medical services for foster children and community training programs) who have experienced family violence.
