Community Housing Network (CHN)

Provides housing assistance to adults with addiction or substance abuse, mental disorders and those who struggle with homelessness. Apartments are scattered throughout 28 zip codes in Franklin County. Tenants also receive help with finding employment.

Creative Housing

Provides safe, accessible, and affordable housing for people with disabilities in the Columbus area. People served by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities should contact their service coordinator regarding housing waiting list information. Also, they provide accessible renovation and construction services through their program Creative Renovations.

Disability Rights Ohio (formerly Ohio Legal Rights Services)

Provides legal advocacy and rights protection throughout Ohio for people who are developmentally disabled, mentally ill or have other physical and mental disabilities. This includes assisting individuals with problems such as abuse, neglect, discrimination, access to assistive technology devices, special education, housing, employment, voting, community integration, and rights protection issues within the juvenile and criminal justice systems.

ECHO Residential Support

This program to support individuals so that they may live where they want and with whomever they choose.  ECHO assists in a variety of ways including housekeeping, money management, transportation, and serves as a friendly face to support and encourage people with developmental disabilities to make their own decisions.

Equitas Health (formerly AIDS Resource Center (ARC) Ohio)

Provides low-income housing, rental subsidies and financial assistance to people living with HIV and AIDS.  In addition, they offer free anonymous HIV/AIDS testing and free testing for other STDs (syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia), behavior health, dentistry, legal services; medical, pharmacy, and HIV/STI prevention programs and services.

Provides support to homeless men and women through emergency shelter, transitional and supportive/permanent housing. These services are available to persons living with certain medical conditions and chronically homeless people.
