Provides a variety of services for the Asian community:

    • After school and summer tutoring and mentoring programs for Asian Americans in grades K to 12, including educational, ESOL and college prep activities
    • Family Support Program (counseling) for victims of bullying, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and hate crimes
    • 24-hour interpreting / translation services

Provides case management services, health and wellness services, education programs (like ESOL, tutoring and summer camps), language and culture programs, and sport clubs for Bhutanese people living in Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus City Schools Adult & Community Education (ACE)

Offers support services for families, with classes at different sites throughout Franklin County. They have free GED prep and ESOL classes for adults, and basic skills literacy classes for adults, as well as vocational training programs for adults (like nursing). They also offer low-cost online adult classes.

Columbus City Schools English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

Their website has information about programs at each school, as well as helpful links to other sites for parents, teachers and students. Welcome Centers help students from other countries who have recently arrived in the United States and who have little or no literacy skills in English or in their native language. They also offer adult English classes.

Columbus Literacy Council

Offers free basic literacy classes for adults and also English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) and GED test preparation. They also offer a summer youth employment program that provides job skills and work experience to youth and young adults between the ages of 14-24 in Franklin County.

Dominican Learning Center

Tutors adults 18 years and older in reading, writing, math, and computers, as well as GED preparation and learning English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Students are not charged for tutorial services, but those who are financially able are asked to purchase basic texts and materials.

Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS)

Provides several services to the Ethiopian community in central Ohio, as well as African, Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants. Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries

Offers programming and connects families facing suburban poverty in Hilliard to resources.
