Catholic Social Services

A faith-based organization that provides family support services to help families thrive. Their services and programs include counseling, post adoption services, case management, transitional housing for individuals and families fleeing from abusive homes, food and emergency assistance and more. Their community center, Our Lady of Guadalupe Center, provides support to the Hispanic community in Central Ohio through food and emergency assistance, nutrition and English classes, and health, employment and legal referrals.

Center for New Beginnings Shelter & Services

Columbus Coalition for the Homeless (CCH)

Advocates services for those experiencing homelessness, educates the central Ohio community about homelessness, and actively works to reduce hate crimes. YWCA

Provide affordable housing for women recovering from drug-related, alcohol-related, and mental illnesses. Services include: wellness and recovery support, computer and internet access, employment assistance, financial literacy classes, GED program and more. The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and critical services including, family assistance, family advocacy, childcare, employment and resource center to help central Ohio families find housing. The YWCA Kids Place offers affordable childcare during the school year and summer programs for families in Gahanna and Westerville school districts. They also provide leadership training for high school girls and women in their 20’s.
