Childcare Financial Assistance
Miami-Dade County’s Department of Human Services (DHS) provides child care financial assistance to parents with low-income. Applicants will be evaluated at the time of an initial consultation. Please refer to the list below for the nearest eligibility center:

City of Miami – Daycare and Preschool Program
Offers full service licensed daycare and pre-school activities including lunch and snacks. Fees for daycare are based on income and Title IV criteria. For City of Miami residents with income under $42,500. HAve at least 5 different location trough the county. Call (305) 759-3507 for info.
Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program
ECD provides comprehensive services to children whose parents work outside the home, or who are in training for future employment. All applicants for Subsidized Child Care must be approved by Metro-Dade Child Development Service. for their various locations call (305) 637-1000 or go to
Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe
a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring early care and education for children in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Provide childcare for refugees, asylees and entrants, and needy families searching for work or going to school. Fee based on income. Call (305) 646-7220 for further info.
Hands In Action

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA)
RCMA provides quality child care and early education for children of migrant farm workers and rural, low-income families throughout Florida. It is founded by Mennonite Church volunteers in the Redlands farming area and provides a safe, nurturing environment for children while their parents worked in the fields. 13600, SW 312 Street, Homestead, FL 33090. Smart Start Child Care
