provides lots of information about health insurance, including New York State programs.
New York Prescription Saver (NYPS) Card
For people age 50-64 years old with income restrictions; for persons under age 50 and have a disability. Free card enables user to get discounted prescriptions. (800) 788-6917.
New York State Insurance Department/Insurance Information for Consumers

helps guide consumers through the health care system–with information, advice, and advocacy on all types of health insurance. Resource Entitlement Advocacy Program (REAP)
a service of Mount Sinai Medical Center, Madison Avenue between 97th and 98th Streets.
