Community Behavioral Health

CBH is the city-operated health maintenance organization for persons needing mental health care. Substance abuse treatment (through the Coordinating Office for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Programs-CODAAP) is the same number. Mental Health Association of Southeastern PA

Organization that develops, promotes, and supports education and advocacy programs and serves children with mental health needs- 1211 Chestnut St.- 800-688-4226 or 215-751-1800.

BHSI (Behavioral Health System Initiative)

City funded agency for individuals without health insurance with substance abuse. 801 Market Street, 215-546-1200.

Philadelphia “Warmline”

The Warmline is operated by trained Certified Peer Specialists for Philadelphia Residents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, stress, loneliness, relationship difficulties, and other life challenges. Call 267-507-3945 or 855–507-WARM (9276) for help.
