All Counties: Child Inc. – Runaway and Homeless Youth Project

The goal of the Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) project is to reduce the rate of runaway and unnecessary out-of-home placements in New Castle County, Delaware. They offer the following services: short-term crisis shelters, 24-Hour hotline, counseling, and educational programs.

The Challenge Program is a private non-profit offering a Construction Training Program for out-of-school youth aged 18-21. Trainees enrolled in this program complete 700 hours of site-based construction training and educational work

New Castle County: Multiple Alternative Program

Multiple Alternative Program (MAP) helps high school dropouts prepare for a high school diploma and provides referrals and transitions students to James H. Groves or other vocational or training programs. Program targets out-of-school students without diplomas who are ages 16-20.
