The Pregnancy and Family Resource Center in York, PA is a full service non-profit organization offering practical help, care support, education, pregnancy testing, and material needs to women, men, teens and familities in crisis…all at no charge to those we serve.  We do pregnancy testing, ongoing confidential and caring support throughout pregnancy, parent education program, education about pregnancy and fetal development, referrals for medical care and legal assistance, information about abortion procedure, risks and alternatives, childbirth information, referrals for education, employment and daily living related skills, maternity and baby clothing, abstinence education, adoption information and referrals, emergency formula and diapers, mentoring relationships.

YORK COUNTY CRIBS FOR KIDS PROGRAM

This program assists families in York who can not afford a safe place for their baby to sleep. The program provides a Pack N Play Crib to them with documentation from the family, and also provides educational materials regarding ‘safe sleeping’ and tips to protect your baby.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES: HEART OF MARY PREGNANCY AND SUPPORT PROGRAM

Free pregnancy test. Someone to talk to about needs and choices. Pregnancy help; clothing, food, furniture, diapers, formula, referrals, administering the Parenting Resource and Education Program (PREP), an incentives based material assistance program for pregnant parents, sharing adoption information, conducting sessions regarding abstinence and STDs, and all women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy or possible pregnancy, or the biological parent of a child under age of 12 months are eligible for agency services. Any Pennsylvania resident is qualified to become a client of the program. All program components are confidential and provided free of charge, regardless of income.
