KC CareLink was established in 2001 as a collaborative project of Kansas City healthcare safety-net providers. Together they have developed a shared electronic information network that connects participating organizations to a central database where authorized users can access KC CareLink medical applications using a web browser to share a uniform set of individual patient information (name, contact information, insurance, medical record number, etc.). KC CareLink provides a 24 / 7 resource to safety net clinics, hospitals and health departments in our bi-state metropolitan region.
