Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities provides services to women of all ages who are faced with an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. Women wishing to discuss their pregnancy and future plans are welcome to visit with a case manager in a caring, compassionate and confidential environment. Services are provided free of charge and may include
- Case management
- Emergency assistance
- Parenting education
- Medical planning and referral
- Legal planning and referral
- Professional counseling
If a woman chooses an adoption plan she has the option of selecting the adoptive family for her child. She also has the choice of an open or closed adoption.
Catholic Charities also works with
- The child’s father – to assist with understanding and making decisions relating to his child
- The families – who may be trying to resolve conflicting feelings about the pregnancy and are looking for ways to help
- The child – whether the birth mother decides to parent the child or choose adoption, Catholic Charities will be involved for as long as is needed.

Christian Family Services of Kansas City
Christian Family Services is located in Overland Park, Kansas (the Kansas City Metro area).
CFS is focused on helping intervene in crisis-pregnancy situations by helping the birth mother with counseling and options other than pregnancy termination.

Project EAGLE
Project HOPE
Project HOPE provides coordination of comprehensive family support services including early childhood education and parenting education; family planning; family and personal counseling; child care; employment and career development; education; transportation; and health and dental care. Family Support Advocates visit teens in their home. Goals are developed based on the family needs and wants. Family Support Advocates are available to guide and support each family.
Teen parents who are eligible to participate in Project HOPE
- Under 21 years of age.
- Pregnant with the first child or a parent of one child.
- Medicaid or HealthWave eligible.
- A resident of Wyandotte County.

Birthright
Birthright provides caring, non-judgmental support to girls and women who are distressed by an unplanned pregnancy. Using its own resources and those of the community, Birthright offers positive and loving alternatives. Birthright presents many services and refers for many more. Birthright provides friendship and emotional support, free pregnancy testing, and maternity and baby clothes. Information and referrals to help clients meet legal, medical, financial, and housing needs are also provided. Birthright treats each woman as an individual who deserves kindness and respect, as well as personal attention to her unique situation. All Birthright services are free, absolutely confidential, and available to any woman regardless of age, race, creed, economic or marital status.
