Their primary work is with children in state custody. They also work on issues for children who have disabilities and children who are immigrants. FCF is part of the Florida system for delivery of legal services to the poor. They are concerned with systematic issues like: DCF (Department of children’s and families’ management), representation of children. foster care, immigration, developmental disabilities, educational advocacy for children in foster care.
