Homeownership Loan Assistance Program for Miami-Dade County

The Miami-Dade Housing Agency (MDHA), in conjunction with private lenders, assists very low to moderate-income individuals and families with the purchase of a home as their primary residence, by providing low-interest second mortgages. Program participation is limited to “one time only” per family. Homeownership Through Work

This is a program for very-low Income persons or former welfare recipients earning no more than 100 percent of area median income or individuals earning below 50 percent of the area median income. Loans can be used to purchase a home with a minimum contribution of 1.5 percent of the applicant’s own funds towards a 5 percent down payment.
