Children who do not qualify for Medicaid may be eligible for other KidCare coverage if income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and will be referred to Florida Healthy Kids for this determination. Florida KidCare
Families that wish to apply for Medicaid just for their children may do so through the KidCare program. KidCrae is our state’s children’s health insurance program for uninsured children under age 19. Eligibility for Florida KidCare is based on your child’s age and family income.

Florida Medikids
It offers low-cost health insurance coverage for children ages 1 to 5. enrollees receive most Medicaid benefits, receive services from Medicaid providers, Families pay a $15 or $20 monthly premium per household, depending on income, Children can only enroll during open enrollment periods. call 1-877-506-0578
Free Immunization
For children without a pediatrician or family doctor, The Children’s Trust is making this list of immunization sites available so every child has access to the immunizations they need to stay healthy. Call the general number (305) 571-5700 or go to:

Any resident of Miami Dade can access medical and dental care by calling one of the many Health Care Centers. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted as emergencies are presented and time is available.
