Mt. Sinai is offering two free virtual summer courses, and you can apply to both of them with the same application.
 
Summer program dates: July 5- August 12, 2022 (3-4 hours/day between 9am-3pm, 5 days/week).
Application due date: Sunday, March 20, 2022.
 
Eligibility
► Must attend NYC public school or charter school.
► Demonstrated interest in biomedical sciences and research.
► Currently in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.
► Must be an under-represented minority (African American, Latino, Native American, or Alaskan American) OR meet state-determined economic criteria.
If the child is not eligible on an economic or representation basis, the child can also qualify by income. Learn more by visiting icahn.mssm.edu/about/diversity/ceye/programs/summer.
 
*Students are eligible to apply regardless of immigration status*

— Introduction to Bioinformatics (virtual).
— Medical and Scientific Exploration (virtual).
— Internship Placement Program (in-person).
— Hospital Placement.
— Veterinary Sciences.
— Doctors Reaching Minority Men Exploring Neuroscience (DR MMEN).
 
Requirements

► Please note you can apply to both courses at the same time with this application, but will only be accepted to one course if accepted.
► Full attendance for the duration of the 6-week program with no more than two (2) absences.
