NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center offers hundreds of internship opportunities each year across four campuses located at:
—Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia
—Goddard Institute For Space Studies, New York City
—Katherine Johnson Independent Verification and Validation Facility, Fairmont, West Virginia
–GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
–High school students: at least 16 years of age and a current sophomore, junior or senior
–Undergraduate or graduate students: at the time the opportunity begins, must be accepted/enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university.
How to Apply
— Summer 2022 applications are now being accepted. For the optimal chance of being considered please submit your application by March 4, 2022. The summer session will begin June 6, 2022.
— Fall 2022 applications are now being accepted. For the optimal chance of being considered please submit your application by July 8, 2022. The fall session will begin August 29, 2022.
— As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, NASA will closely monitor and follow guidelines from federal, state and community officials regarding on-site competitions.
