The NYC Parks Summer Day Camp program offers children ages 6 to 13 a wide array of activities for a fun summer. Campers engage in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventures while taking part in many of New York City’s rich cultural and educational opportunities. NYC Parks follows all State, City and CDC Requirements. As part of this practice Daily Health Screenings are required of staff and participants.
All children from ages 6-13 NYC residents.
– Canoeing and fishing with the Urban Park Rangers
– Tennis and golf hosted by City Parks Foundation
– Learn to Swim classes with Aquatics instructors
– Fun STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Specific activities, dates, and trip destinations will depend upon the camp location.
When: Tuesday, July 6 – Friday, August 20, 2021

Cost: $25 per-child registration fee.
How to Apply
The program is extremely popular and registration is conducted through a lottery. Registration dates took place from Friday, May 21 to Sunday, May 30, 2021. Note: If planning to entering the lottery in 2022, check this link in Spring 2022. Keep in mind that entering earlier will not increase your chances of getting in. If you’ve been chosen by the lottery, you will receive these instructions by email.

PAL Summer Camps
Each summer, PAL provides children ages 5-13 living in communities facing high rates of poverty and crime with Summer Day Camps, free of charge.

Fresh Air Fund offers outdoor summer programs for children to help them earn, grow, and thrive in New York City and beyond.
Each year, thousands of children experience outdoor summer adventures through visits with volunteer host families and at The Fund’s sleepaway camps in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley. Fresh Air children also participate in academic enrichment and leadership programs throughout the school year.
