Thank you.
Whether you are interested in becoming a volunteer, sharing the mission of CASA in your community, or would like to donate to our cause, we are happy to involve the San Antonio community as much as possible.
The mission of Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) is to recruit, train, and supervise court-appointed volunteer Advocates who provide constancy for abused and neglected children and youth while advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes.

CAMP offers many volunteer opportunities throughout the school year and summer months. All program volunteer opportunities begin at age 14. CAMP serves individuals with mild to severe disabilities, with diagnoses such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, visual impairment, and hearing impairment. CAMP also serves the non-disabled siblings of our campers in both summer and School-Year (Respite Club) programs. Please see our schedule for current program descriptions and age requirements.
Volunteers are vital in helping us continue our mission to improve the lives of dogs and cats in our community by providing shelter, care, adoption, rescue, spay/neuter programs, and community education. The SAHS offers both long and short term opportunities for individual and groups.
More than 40,000 volunteers dedicate their time to help children and adults with intellectual disabilities achieve their dreams.
Our volunteers include students, senior citizens, business groups, professional individuals, civic organizations, families, amateur and professional athletes, and coaches to name a few.
There is no experience required; however, you must be at least 15 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult. Volunteers participate in an orientation prior to working with our athletes.
