Behavioral Health Response Crisis Hotline / Youth Connection Helplines
Behavioral Health Response (BHR) provides confidential telephone counseling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to people in mental health crises. BHR also provides mobile outreach services, community referral services, and critical incident stress management. The crisis hotline and mobile outreach services are provided free of charge to the public by paid professional staff who have master’s degrees in their respective behavioral science disciplines. Youth Connection Helplines provide 24/7 crisis intervention, including mobile outreaches to home and/or community agencies to provide emotional support, referral information, and linkage of services for children, youth, and their families in the St. Louis County area.
