Children’s Legal Alliance
Free legal assistance to income eligible children who have special education needs. Services include representing children at IEP meetings, due process, suspension or expulsion hearings. Other services include ensuring homeless children have access to education, advocating for access to appropriate special education services, correcting inaccurate or misleading school records.

Educational Opportunity Centers
The HEC Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) are federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide advocacy, access, and support in the areas of financial aid, financial literacy, and college selection for individuals desiring to pursue post-secondary education. There are five permanent offices and multiple satellite centers located throughout the following target counties: St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, St. Clair, Clinton, and Monroe.

Epworth Children and Family Services helps youth and families overcome severe emotional and behavioral challenges caused by abuse or neglect through emergency shelter, residential and intensive treatment, family reunification therapy, transitional and independent living programs, special education, foster family care, and prevention services.
