Breathe Well, Live Well is an innovative adult asthma program run by the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic designed to reduce asthma-related illnesses and disabilities by building knowledge and self-management skills. The program uses an interactive support group approach to successfully maximize individual learning.
The American Lung Association also runs summer camps and asthma awareness days for the whole family.

Girls on the Run is a positive youth development program which combines an interactive curriculum and running to inspire self-respect and healthy lifestyles in pre-teen girls (grades 3-5). The core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls’ development – their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. Lessons provide girls with the tools to make positive decisions and to avoid risky adolescent behaviors. Fee is sliding scale.
