VICTIM ASSISTANCE CENTER (VAC)
Provides a 24 hour hotline, crisis intervention, information and referrals, advocacy and ongoing counseling and support to victims of sexual violence, violent crimes and to families who have lost a loved one to a homicide or suicide. Individual and group counseling available for children, adolescents and adults.

PROTECTION FROM ABUSE OFFICE (PFA)
May file an emergency protection order through the District Justice if Judicial Center is closed. Call 911 and ask to be connected to the District Justice on duty. Hearing within 10 business days.
Court interpreter can be arranged for other languages. Spanish interpreter on site.

SAFE HOME PROGRAM
Provides a 24 hour hotline serving York and Adams County, temporary or emergency shelter, legal advocacy, child therapy and adult support groups, options counseling and crisis response, accompaniment and/or transportation to appointments/hearings, including civil and criminal hearings. Safe home provides for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Spanish speaking services available.

STILL WATERS, ACCESS-YORK, INC.
Provides a 24 hour hotline. Still Waters, The Jane Rice Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence, located in Hanover. The Emergency Shelter Programs provide 24-hour accessible, safe, confidential emergency shelter at no cost to victims of domestic violence and their children. Those who live within the shelters receive safety planning, options and supportive counseling and life skills advocacy. Linkages are made to community resources to assist victims in becoming independent and living their lives free of abuse. Our Emergency Shelters provide food, clothing and personal care needs, as well as the every day needs of residential living.

Access – York Program seeks to eliminate domestic violence, offer support, education and a safe environment for victims of domestic violence. Support groups offered, outreach advocate that goes out into the community. Transitional Housing program – housing available 9-12 months (11 units). NON-VIOLENCE INTERVENTION SERVICE (NOVIS)
Is an intervention group in Adams County, which provides a 26-week educational program for men who are violent, controlling and/or abusive, teaching alternatives to coercive, dominating and violent behavior in intimate relationships.
