NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center offers hundreds of internship opportunities each year across four campuses located at:
Greenbelt, Maryland
Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia
Goddard Institute For Space Studies, New York City
Katherine Johnson Independent Verification and Validation Facility, Fairmont, West Virginia
 
Eligibility
–U.S. citizenship
–GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
–High school students: at least 16 years of age and a current sophomore, junior or senior
–Undergraduate or graduate students: at the time the opportunity begins, must be accepted/enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university.
 
How to Apply
— Summer 2022 applications are now being accepted. For the optimal chance of being considered please submit your application by March 4, 2022. The summer session will begin June 6, 2022.
Fall 2022 applications are now being accepted. For the optimal chance of being considered please submit your application by July 8, 2022. The fall session will begin August 29, 2022.
— As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, NASA will closely monitor and follow guidelines from federal, state and community officials regarding on-site competitions.
