Maternity Care Coalition Breastfeeding and Community Doula Program

Free breastfeeding support and community doula (labor support) services for women and families. Doulas provide culturally-connected support to women and families during pregnancy, labor, childbirth and the weeks after birth. Breastfeeding support is provided by Certified Lactation Counselors (CLCs). Services available in English and Spanish. 215-386-3804.

Nursing Mothers Advisory Council

The Nursing Mothers Advisory Council is a volunteer organization that offers free support and counseling for breastfeeding mothers. NMAC is comprised of trained volunteer women who have breastfed their children and who wish to help others breastfeed. Learn more at http://nursingmoms.net/.

Breast Feeding Resource Center

This is a Nonprofit center staffed by Board Certified Lactation Consultants to address breastfeeding problems. Appts. necessary, sliding scale used to determine payment. 215-886-2433.
