Volunteer Opportunities

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

The mission of Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) is to recruit, train, and supervise court-appointed volunteer Advocates who provide constancy for abused and neglected children and youth while advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes.

CAMP (Children’s Association for Maximum Potential)

CAMP offers many volunteer opportunities throughout the school year and summer months. All program volunteer opportunities begin at age 14. CAMP serves individuals with mild to severe disabilities. CAMP also serves the non-disabled siblings of campers in both summer and School-Year (Respite Club) programs.

San Antonio Humane Society (Volunteer Program)

The mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats in the community by providing shelter, care, adoption, rescue, spay/neuter programs, and community education. The SAHS offers both long and short term opportunities for individual and groups.

Special Olympics Volunteers

More than 40,000 volunteers dedicate their time to help children and adults with disabilities achieve their dreams.

There is no experience required; however, you must be at least 15 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult. Volunteers participate in an orientation prior to working with our athletes.
