Free Fitness Events in NYC helps you find free and vibrant fitness classes, like yoga, Zumba, shadowboxing, and more, taking place all over the city. Waterfront Workouts | Brooklyn Bridge Park has workout classes all summer long on Pier 6. From Morning Yoga to Sunset Pilates get ready to sweat and merge mind, body, soul, and skyline. Recreation Centers in NYC offer affordable or free fitness facilities like indoor pools, weight rooms, basketball courts, dance studios, art studios, game rooms, and libraries.
 
Eligibility
— All New Yorkers
— All youth and young adults between the ages of 0-24 qualify for a free membership!
— To learn more about membership packages for adults 25-61, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, click on nycgovparks.org/programs/recreation-centers/membership.
 
How to Apply
— Complete a Recreation Center Membership Registration Form at nycgovparks.org/programs/recreation-centers/membership and bring it with your payment to any of our recreation center locations with a government-issued ID, plus additional required documentation if you’re enrolling as a veteran or enrolling as a person with a disability.
— Youth may bring a student ID, passport, or birth certificate.
— If you do not have a valid form of identification, find out how to get one at Get Your IDNYC.

— Check group age and schedules
— Sign up for classes

— Apply filters for types of program. For example you can check off “Fitness” and “Sports” in the list on the right
