Each summer, Children’s Aid hosts AileyCamp New York, a powerful dance enrichment experience made possible through a long-running partnership with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
 
Eighty Children’s Aid campers (ages 11 to 14) spend three hours a day, four days a week, learning the basic techniques of ballet, modern dance, traditional West African dance, hip hop, jazz, and tap from trained dance professionals.

Each summer, PAL provides children ages 5-13 living in communities facing high rates of poverty and crime with Summer Day Camps, free of charge.
 
PAL’s Summer Day Camps operate in all five boroughs and are open Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm. More details of the program on the PAL Summer Camps website. Download the Summer Day Camp Application Form.

The NYC Parks Summer Day Camp program offers children ages 6 to 13 a wide array of activities for a fun summer. Campers engage in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventures while taking part in many of New York City’s rich cultural and educational opportunities. NYC Parks follows all State, City and CDC Requirements. As part of this practice Daily Health Screenings are required of staff and participants.
 
 
Eligibility
All children from ages 6-13 NYC residents.
 
Activities
– Canoeing and fishing with the Urban Park Rangers
– Tennis and golf hosted by City Parks Foundation
– Learn to Swim classes with Aquatics instructors
– Fun STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Specific activities, dates, and trip destinations will depend upon the camp location.
When: Tuesday, July 6 – Friday, August 20, 2021

Cost: $25 per-child registration fee.
 
How to Apply
The program is extremely popular and registration is conducted through a lottery. Registration dates took place from Friday, May 21 to Sunday, May 30, 2021. Note: If planning to entering the lottery in 2022, check this link in Spring 2022. Keep in mind that entering earlier will not increase your chances of getting in. If you’ve been chosen by the lottery, you will receive these instructions by email.
