The Pride Health Center at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan is designed to focus on the health needs and disparities specific to the LGBTQ+ community. We see patients on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings by appointment only. Saturday hours will resume soon.

Additional hours on Wednesday until 8 PM

Callen-Lorde Community Health Center provides sensitive, quality healthcare and related services targeted to New York’s LGBTQ communities—in all their diversity—regardless of ability to pay. To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ health issues regardless of ability to pay.
 
HOW IT WORKS
Callen-Lorde provides all healthcare services regardless of ability to pay.
For uninsured/underinsured patients, Callen-Lorde provides a sliding fee based on your income. Visit co-pays can range from $0-$100. Please note that labs and prescriptions are not included in this co-pay. Any labs will be an additional cost, from approximately $50-$150.
 
SERVICES
Current patients can schedule the following appointments online:
— Telehealth (virtual) primary care
— Telehealth (virtual) sexual health care
— COVID-19 testing
— Flu shots
 
ELIGIBILITY
Register to be a new patient by emailing registration@callen-lorde.org with:
— A filled-out New Patient Registration and Consent Form | English Form | Spanish Form
— A picture of your government-issued photo ID (examples include: NYC ID, driver’s license, or passport)
 
If insured: a photo of your insurance card (front and back)
 
Once your information is received, expect a phone call from (212) 271-7200 for an intake.
 
If you are unable to register online (due to technology or other issues), you can walk into any of the sites from 9 AM-3 PM Monday-Friday to fill out a paper registration. Please bring a government-issued photo ID and your insurance card (if insured).
